History

This is a very rare 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III Mulliner Park Ward Drophead Coupe. Only around 100 of these cars were produced worldwide, with 50% of them RHD, as is this car, making this car extremely rare. Originally delivered in London England to Mr K. Wylie, it is now owned by a car collector in Sydney Australia. This model of car was owned by a number of famous people of the 1960's including Tony Curtis, Sammy Davis Jr, Lucille Ball, Peter Sellers, the King of Greece (King Constantine), the Ruler (Emir) of Bahrein to name a few.

The chassis records from the factory show this car was originally specified with "Ming Blue" exterior paint colour and an off white leather interior (those specifications were as per the show car at the 1964 Earls Court Motor show).

The car is in outstanding condition and is regularly driven and enjoyed on a number of car club events.

I have a note that it was offered for sale via 123bid/ebay until 2006-09-10 during the Concours d´Elegance at Radnor Hunt (PA/USA). An estimate of 80.000-100.000 USD was given. The state price at the auction´s end was 61.586 USD.
