Another of the long wheelbase Silver Ghosts, 41 TM was prepared to a commission from T.H. Gill and Son, Paddington, London. The nickel finish car with `body-between' levers was originally ordered with £100 deposit on 6 June 1924. On the day the balance of f1489/2/2 was paid. The chassis was delivered by road to Gill's premises in Paddington, London. Fitted with a Gill salamanca/cabriolet or allweather with polished aluminium bonnet, it was delivered to Colonel Gerrard of 33 South Audley St, London.
Gerrard had the new and popular four-wheel brakes fitted in early 1925. This car was imported to Australia at some time after 1932, possibly by the active Melbourne-based Palfreyman Syndicate, and was registered as (Vic) 7.892 in 1935.
In July 1957 41TM was offered for sale at £120 from a service station in Briagolong, Victoria and purchased by Ray Denny of East Ringwood. The radiator and bonnet were in poor condition and the firewall was almost destroyed. Wheels were carrying 750 x 21" tyres and although unregistered the car carried the plate (Vic) YH.106.
Denny sold the chassis to a buyer in Moorabbin from whom it was purchased by the present owner in the 1960s. It is believed to be in storage in Melbourne.
